How to use the [audio] tag

Hello everyone,

here's a little tutorial, to demonstrate how an attached mp3 can be played with the html5 audio player.

1. Start a new thread and write your message
2. Attach your mp3 (click: Manage Attachments -> Add Files -> Select Files -> Upload Files -> Done)
3. Click Preview Post
4. Rightclick the Attached file that appeared in the preview and copy the link address to your clipboard
5. Click the icon with the note, which will insert [ audio ] [ /audio ] into your text, with the cursor placed between the two MP3 tags
6. Press CTRL+V or rightclick and paste, but make sure the link is pasted between [ audio ] and [ /audio ], so it will look like this:

[ audio ]http://www.soundpeak.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=38&d=1365243979[ /audio ]

7. Click Preview Post and you should see the player. Hit the play button to test if it works



8. Click Submit New Thread and you're done

Please note, that your attached mp3 can be downloaded by any registered member.

If you own some webspace (free webspace will work too, as long as the hoster allows hotlinking), you can put the link to your mp3 on your personal webspace inside the audio tag aswell.
