I have finally finished remixing all my stuff and this is my last remixing effort.

This track sounds great mate. I like the creative use of stereo panning.

I feel that using the stereo panning is a must when you have several instruments of the same. In this case 2 strumming acoustics, 3 slides and 4 solos (nearly all together)

Since I last uploaded it my "moosegarage" account was nuked.

Oooooookkkk!!!

I've finally (I hope) managed to finish this track... it meant having to re-record the bass track and change the drumkit plus re-adjusting most levels accordingly.
Soooo... unless some of you finds something really wrong in the mix I WILL NOT MAKE ANY MORE CHANGES

moose i love the guitar(s) so much...
i like the song (has a little chris rea flavour )... relaxing...

if...you could work on the drums a little more (just a little extra effort, not now but maby in a month or so, give your ears a little break)

for me the drums are
1.a little too repettitive
2.too crispy (too clear/too studio like/midi like...i dont know...maby its just the snare/rim..the base drum sounds pretty ok but the snare/rim & hihat sound to digital/sharp).
3.and maby you could do a diffrent rhythm to the drums..sounds a little too mechanical

having said that.. this drums thing is only 5-10% of the melody in my view so even with this drum track the song still feels & sounds relaxing and good...

Yes you're right, of course.
I can't program drums. I hate drums programming. It is the one task I really really wish I could avoid, when I work at my mixes.

But I'll spend some more time on it in a few days as you suggested, although this is by all means no guarantee that I will come up with something better.

But I'll try.

By the way... if there's anyone out there willing to have a go at programming the drums for this mix I'll post the midi file I've used. The VSTi is Kontakt Studio Drummer
