Have I heard this in a different form before?

"I am everything they told you I was, son; and then some." This is a stand-out lyric. I feel I have heard you sing it before.

But I don't remember hearing this track sounding as well produced as this. Quirky rather than weird I would say. Full of your own distinct and individual character.

I like it. Why is the soundcloud download button disabled? If it weren't this song would be on my iPod by now.

shadow now your catching on... everyone thinks that the persona of "satan" would only be evil and hateful. but what if this wasnt exactly the case? .. this song is expressing that satan helped create you with god.. he gave you gifts.. (knowledge of the apple! , the arrow for defense!, and FIRE! from the pit of hell!) all for mankind... and yet.. we never thank him for any of these things... he is still the evil , the deciever...

    am i a satanist? lol....
    no.. i'm an atheist..
i dont even believe that satan exists....
BUT... if i got you thinking... that's all that matters.

    thanks for listening tb!
you may have heard this before... i'm not sure...
but that line.... in the lyrics.... is plagiarized... thats why you know it... not the whole line .. just 3 words... "and then some" ...
i got it from the movie... "the last boy scout" ... i all ways liked the line .. some how i thought it was something the devil would say.

i think there very weird lyrics for "satan" ... sure we have all heard the rolling stones "sympathy for the devil"
i try to go into different territory...

i never turned the "download" button on for any of them...
what the fuck you need that for anyway?
you can loop your sound card and rip any audio you want from the web...
    dont tell me you cant.....

but why would you want soundclouds shit version?
if i can get my computer running i will email you a high quality one

i know you have a hard time with english sometimes.
i can see why the lyrics messed you up.

but this song is a character piece. when i say that i mean.. i am playing the part of a character. like bat man, or santa clause.

i am an atheist. i dont just call myself an atheist.
i dont believe in any religion.

i dont see any relationship to the youtube link of aphrodite and this song?
in fact .. i really dont understand what your trying to tell me at all.
    sorry.

Yes, soundcloud does horrible things to your audio but think of this as a sort of preview button.

If you download from SC, you don't get the shitty preview version, you download the original file that was uploaded.

In that sense, SC is quite a good way to distribute music. You can even share the .wav version this way.

It's a fair cop. I can. :EVIL GRIN: But then I really do get the shitty SC version.

But actually there is a big difference between 'stealing' a song that you like and being 'sent' a friend's song. A massive emotional difference. I like this song you've done here dope. I would be pleased and honoured to be sent an mp3.

ok .. it's on my daw.. lol once i get it up and going again.. i will shoot you a proper mp3
you can give me a better critique then anyway... if you listen close.. theres a LOT i put into this song.. a shit load of harmonies.. a lot of string parts... the guitar solo honestly reminds me of brian may... to me it sounds like a queen solo... which is odd cause i rarely attempt his particular style.. and i didnt purposely do it in this song either... but it just "sounds" that way to me....
it will be coming at you as soon as i can get this old girl up and running again

May I add that when you download from Soundcloud you download the same file that was uploaded, as it was uploaded. So if you upload your music in WAV format with no compression that is what you'll get if you then download it, even though the Souncloud player itself compresses the file (quite horribly, sometimes).

As an extra note... I have found that the Soundcloud compression is less obvious and less damaging if the uploaded files max output (peaks) is 3db below zero.
