Musicians that can do it all..multitimbral human beings.

I think McCartney of the Beatles recorded a whole album playing everything, all instruments, and singing. He was the first, secretly recording while "let it be" was in the final throws and turns of mastering.
Prince or the artist formerly known as complete idiot recorded an entire effort on his own... "Purple prick" or something like that it was entitled. But you have to admire the talent.
There are only a very few people in the entire history of music who have managed to complete this amazing feat and have their recordings sold around the globe.
Probability of success..... 1 in 3.5 billion..... But man it's fun trying.
You simply can not become a master of everything in one lifetime.
If you get the chance to play with other musicians, don't ever pass it over.

I think I could finally give it a good effort playing guitar, drums, cello, and piano and synths and come up with half decent attempt playing live on each instrument.
Are you multi timbal? What are your instruments of choice?

    Hello,

i am no good at playing anything.
I am practicing to play the piano on my midi-keyboard and i am getting better. But i am still far far away from being able to jam with other people, because i still need to improve my timing and some music theory.

So i am hoping to team up with other instrument players here at soundpeak, to create tracks together by exchanging recorded instruments. That would be fun.

i usually write on guitar. i have been playing guitar for about 20 years. i'm not a fast guitar player. i used to be faster.when i play lead its usually bluesier.
i'm a better bass player than a guitar player. i have been playing bass for about 15 years. my songs usually get the groove from the bass playing. if i were to play with a group or play live i would probably play bass.
i can barely play piano. i usually program piano and organs.
i cannot play any drums. i program those too.
i try to avoid synthesizer. its used too much in my opinion. i use it as a substitute for string parts more often than anything else now.
as a musician i'm a rhythm guy for the most part.
i'm a poor singer. but i try to write vocals to everything. instrumentals are great. but i spent too much time on instrumentals in the early's 00's .. songs with a vocal idea seem to go farther.. and mean more to me personally.
when i was writing instrumentals... they became extremely complex. this is good if your writing music for other musicians. but most normal people do not care at all about complexity. they want substance, and they want music that makes them feel something, anything. most people seem to relate to music that is simple and easy to understand.
