    Chiaro

    Hi everyone

Here I am with my second offering, "Chiaro".
While in my first upload in here you endured my "country" flavoured output, with "Chiaro" I pay homage to the latin world. When in Birmingham I did a spell as guitarist in a latin band (I was the only non-latin in there) and the rhythms melodies and feel of it all must have sinked into my skin.

The hardest thing in here was perhaps trying to play and record each instrument making it sound like a whole band playing together in one room, rather than me overdubbing my ownself.

    Hope you like it.

    I like this a lot.

It does sound like different people playing because instrument parts all have their own 'character' and the timing is so loose in places.

For example; Has the bongopolist* has been at the tequila?

The lead part is very crisp. He's good. You should keep him in your 'band'.

*tB thinks all percussion instruments are bongos.

Thank you all indeed for your positive input and support.

It is always helpful, welcomed and... well.. needed

@theBadger the percussionist took indeed some liberties, but I let him be, mainly because I'll have to live with him for the rest of my life and didn't want to upset him too much.
He's playing 2 drums: a metal djembe on the right (the first you hear) and a conga on the left.
The conga might indeed lead to think it is a bongo because I've taken out all the bass frequencies to make space for the low end of the rhythm guitar which sits next to it

Thank you dope. I'm glad you like this one too

You are definitely right about the originality thing and I must admit that riginality is not in my priority list when I make music. I just do what I like how I like it.
Hopefully someone else will like it too

But I thank you and everyone else for the great support. It keeps the drive and motivation high
