Lightbulb Your suggestions for a song a badger might be able to play?

I've been asked by a singer friend to play a few songs at one of his gigs.

He's quite versatile in what he can sing.

Any suggestions for material that we could try to perform?

    Metallica - Nothing Else Matters

There will come a time when you've tried everything you're not and the only thing left will be what you are

And there are some great suggestions in there fellas, thanks.

(maybe not ghostbusters with just piano).

Thanks for all your suggestions folks. There are some good ones there.

I've just had a great first rehearsal with my mate. We tried out a few song ideas and they are starting to sound quite promising.

what kind of songs should we suggest? rock? pop? techo ?

Well that's the thing... Anything can be made into a piano and vocal song (except ghostbusters). If it is basically a good song.

So that's what kind of songs I am looking for. Songs that are still good even after all of the guitars and drums and production have been stripped and thrown away.

(and that aren't too difficult for me to play)

lol out of all of logic's choices there that's the song I like the most!

hmm songs stripped back to piano and voice...

what about: SNOW PATROL - Run

I know the song has been used on TV a lot, but when done right wow what a song...the original isn't my thing but the song has lots of potential!
