that mixup would sound interesting I bet lol
I added the SoundCloud link, and had to modify the widget settings after upload...still not working here but should work once SoundCloud update the settings...
I wanted to do a test track in Studio One. So I made a house track. It's called "S1T1 feat. Antoine Clamaran"
All the processing was done in Studio One except for the final mastering which was done in SForge.
Was fun to make; Studio One isn't too bad after all!

really love the sound of your kick drum. not the top end of it so much.. but the body .. that big boom sounds really awesome. i wish i could get my kick drums to sound better. more like this.
really loved the vocal sample as well. it fit quite well. and kept me entertained.
i have to admit though musically i am one of those people that "dont quite get it" ... house music is just not my genre.. i dont dance. lol
great mix though.. great over all sound !!
on a side note.. i really think you should change your skill level from "amateur" to something else..
your not an amateur man.... not at all.
i really liked this interview..
i can see how you could take these ideas and apply them to yourself.
i guess .. i judge this 'title' of amateur or semi pro or pro differently.
to me it has nothing to do with money.
i think it is only a self reflection of how you believe you compare with your previous work and with others work.
now.. it's a bit misleading..
i list myself as "semi pro"
am i a semi pro guitar player? no...
am i a semi pro bass player? no...
am i a semi pro mixer? no...
am i a semi pro engineer? no...
am i a semi pro song writer ?
yes..
to me.
am i a pro?
no...
i will never be a pro even if i did make money or win an award.
if i ever consider myself a pro.. then i have finished learning..
this will never happen.
i said i dont quite get "house music" .. this is true..
but i do not agree that i am not so good at electronic..
because i think i have wonderful ideas in electronic.. just not house.. not dance..
it would have to be another area...
like trance, psychedelic, down tempo, dub, etc...
i often take elements of these types of electronic music and use them!
but usually ONLY these elements.
of course i have tried other things.. just with less success...
i seem to do better when i stick to more traditional sounds. guitars, basses, etc...
nice one dope
i understand your language there
i consider myself a pro downhill skiier, an amateur chef, a semi-pro road-bike rider, and music wise I'm with you.
yeah the house/techno requires dancing imo![]()
