Isn't coincidence a bizarre thing.

Yesterday my son asked me where he could get some sound fx for his school play and we spent the afternoon making foley sounds!

We made the sound of 'dragons wings' by recording him flapping two plastic bags, slowing it down and adding some cheap sounding echo.

We made the sound of a time portal using a ringtone from a mobile phone recorded into the built in mic on his laptop while he waved it about...

and we made the sound of creaking floorboards by recording our back door being slowly opened and closed a bit.

Who needs 24/96 when you've got a microphone and some imagination. :smile:
