Nearly 2 years ago we posed this question:*"Will Avid Continue To Make Audio Interfaces Or Just Concentrate On Software?".*Some thought the idea unlikely.*But as we look at the recent announcements around Pro Tools 12.6 , particularly the ability to buy Pro Tools HD software without hardware and the new Digilink licence, one can't help wonder if this is even more likely than ever?
