This could have inspired a new little hobby for me in making some boutique electronica. Could be just the type of challenge i am craving. I buy a keybed from fatar, a midi pcb from doepfer and do one month of soldering under magnifying glass. No... I changed my mind. My world needs to be bigger than microscopic.

i've never owned a real synth.
there so damn expensive.
and you got to get the good ones or else they either sound stupid, have very limited controls, or have controls so complicated buried in menus that you can never get it to sound right.
too damn expensive.
i can buy good sounding guitars for 600-1200 bucks.
is it even possible to get a decent sounding synth that a human being can operate in that price range?
