If you had some spare money to spend on music gear, what would you buy?

I don't have any spare money at the moment. As it is, when my oldest son wanted some money to buy dinner at school all I could give him was some pennies I found down the back of the couch, two postage stamps and an IOU.

But if I had some spare cash I'd buy a Presonus Faderport.

I do not need any new toys, unless something gets broken. I have all I need to make some noise.

But I've had a dream a long time ago and if I would have a lot of spare fiat money, maybe I would realise this dream. Going to the SAE and study audio engineering and multimedia production, just for fun. Assumed that they would accept me as a student.

I'd go for some new headphones...

My current ones still work tho, but they are some years old and slowly falling apart. A second pair would be good, when recording someone, so me and the person recorded could both listen with headphones
