After equipment costs... beer expenses ... and bribes for the audience .. Im far in the hole...
We don't make music to make money...
... but perhaps if someone spends $.69 to download a song that's OK.
This weekend I 'did sound' for someone and earned £80.
I also had great fun, met some lovely people, ate a delicious sausage in a bun, got slightly drunk and couldn't find my way home...
...and learnt something new (reverbs that work indoors don't always work in the open air.)
So; do you make any money from your music?

For short. No. I don't.
My day job involves some audio now so...I guess so
Many many many years ago, i once got a small check from mp3.com.
Artists earned money, when others listened to their tracks.
That was everything i ever earned with my music. It was not much, but i liked it, as it was passive
There will come a time when you've tried everything you're not and the only thing left will be what you are
mp3.com
I was also there back then. But I never earned a cent
I said I guess so, but no, I have not been paid for any of my creations. Although I have been paid to do engineering work but only for a very short time.
What's the point of the question? I'd rather hear about the gig you did TB lol
