    Riffs, licks, tricks, runs and twiddly bits...

    Apparently, blues piano players and most guitarists own loads of these....

    Patterns of notes that they can use.. almost at will... to make even the most simple chord progression sound interesting.


    Us badgers know little of these things. Please teach me some simple riffs that I can learn.

    nothing from nothing

    i dont normally use blues riffs.
    when i do its just 1 4 5
    really simple..

    but..
    where i do use blues is in my leads.
    it's just a few scales ..
    i like it

    nobody can really show you whats best for you.
    i suggest honestly that you jam out to some doors and find some kick ass organ playing and imitate that for a bit.
    then try to twist it your own way
