'Gravity' Wins 2014 Academy Awards for Sound Editing, Sound Mixing

Warner Bros. Pictures' suspenseful thriller Gravity, directed by 2014 Academy Award winner Alfonso CuarĂ³n, captured both 2014 Oscar Sound Awards at the 86th Academy Awards, held Sunday, March 2, 2014, at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood and broadcast on the ABC network in a 3-hour, 11-minute telecast. The Oscar for Best Sound Editing went to Supervising Sound Editor: Glenn Freemantle, while the Oscar for Best Sound Mixing went to the team of Skip Lievsay, Niv Adiri, Christopher Benstead and Chris Munro.
