It's funny how whenever "wages" and "economy" discussions are brought up, that the elephant in the room is always ignored....the same elephant that won't go away even if it is getting dusty as the decades pass by
That being: of all the nation's GDPs, money is being stolen by thieves using legalised theft methods. For example, in Australia, the top wage earners are making over $250,000 per week after tax. In America, this can be multiplied x10, and towards the very top even more.
The fact is that certain roles in society have been manipulated to remove certain sums of money from the GDP, while elevating the role to a position of compromise. These roles include musicians, lawyers, bankers, politicians, priests, and more.
IMO, this article should be titled: "The AMP Act Turns Up Volume On Top 5% Earners For Legalised Theft Of GDP", or "The AMP Act Highlights Not Enough Money In Economy To Pay Adults Properly Due To Legalised Theft Of GDP", or something...
